About Us
The Co-operative Party was formed in 1917 to put co-operators
into Parliament. It is the political arm of the British Co-operative
Movement, and all its members must also be members of a bona fide
Co-operative Society. The Co-operative Party has an electoral agreement
with the Labour Party, allowing it to stand Official Labour and
Co-operative MP's, MSP's, AM's, MEP's and Councillors.
The Co-operative Party works closely
with Labour to win elections. The Co-operative Party's Agenda
for Labour represents its manifesto for Labour. The key points
of the Agenda are:

for Co-operative Enterprises

for the Social Economy
